This Return Policy applies to all software products, subscription services, and related services offered by AlfaSoft (Pvt) Ltd through our website alfasoft.it.com and any other authorized distribution channels.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return or refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • The return request must be made within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  • You must provide a valid proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or order confirmation).
  • The product must not have been significantly used or customized beyond the initial setup.
  • The reason for the return must be clearly stated when submitting your request.

Software Products

For our software products including Laundry Management System, School Management System, Computer Shop System, and Clothing Shop System:

Trial Period

We offer a demonstration or trial period before purchase. We strongly recommend taking advantage of this to ensure the product meets your requirements before committing to a purchase.

  • If the software fails to perform as described in the product specifications, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • If technical issues cannot be resolved by our support team within a reasonable timeframe, a partial or full refund may be issued.
  • Custom-developed features or modifications requested after purchase are non-refundable once delivered.

Subscription Services

For subscription-based services and recurring payments:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds for the current billing period are available if the cancellation request is made within 7 days of the billing date.
  • Annual subscription plans are eligible for a pro-rated refund if cancelled within the first 30 days.
  • No refunds will be provided for partial months or unused portions of a subscription after the eligible refund period.

Refund processing times depend on the original payment method:

Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are not eligible for refunds:

  • Custom software development or modifications completed as per client specifications.
  • Domain registration, hosting services, or third-party integrations purchased on your behalf.
  • Training sessions or consulting services already delivered.
  • Setup or installation fees for products that have already been deployed.
  • Products purchased during promotional or discounted offers, unless otherwise stated.

Exceptions

We may make exceptions to this policy in the following circumstances:

  • If the product has a critical defect or security vulnerability that we are unable to resolve.
  • If there was a billing error or unauthorized charge on your account.
  • If required by applicable consumer protection laws of Sri Lanka.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act or any other applicable legislation in Sri Lanka. Where there is a conflict between this policy and the law, the law prevails.
